Podcasts are a great way to pass the time while driving, hiking , working or going for a jog. I wanted to share some of my favorite podcasts that I look forward to each week. These podcasts are related to self-hosting, open source and Linux in general.
Self-Hosted
Discover new software and hardware to get the best out of your network, control smart devices, and secure your data on cloud services. Self-Hosted is a chat show between Chris and Alex two long-time "self-hosters" who share their lessons and take you along for the journey as they learn new ones.
The Self-Hosted podcast is the podcast for Self Hosting enthusiest. The primary focus is all about Slef Hosted software and what's new in the niche. I'm always discovering new applications from listening to the podcast.
Home Assistant Podcast
Join hosts Phil Hawthorne and Rohan Karamandi each fortnight as they explore the newest Home Assistant release and the latest Home Automation news. Featuring guests who use or contribute to Home Assistant, the podcast aims to inspire new ways to make your home smarter.
The Home Assistant podcasts main focus is... well, Home Assistant. However, they often times talk about other Self Hosted software which can be very informative!
The Homelab Show
The Homelab Show strives to deliver not only introductions to many of the projects that fascinate homelab enthusiasts but also go in depth on how to set some of these projects up from beginning to end. No matter if you are a veteran homelab tech or just starting out, there is something here for you.
The Homelab Show podcast is always on about hardware! That's pretty common though because it's ran by the same crew over at Lawrence Systems on Youtube. They often times will talk about self hosting software on their homelabs.
FLOSS Weekly
FLOSS is all about Free Libre Open Source Software. Join host Doc Searls and his rotating panel of co-hosts every Wednesday as they talk with the most interesting and important people in the Open Source and Free Software community.
FLOSS Weekly is more focused on Open Source Software rather than Self Hosting. I do however think it is relevant to the readers here at Noted.
The WAN Show
Every week Linus and Luke discuss the most current happenings in the technology universe.
While it's not an exclusive show about Self Hosting, they do touch on subjects related to it periodically.
