We're back with our 20th Self Hosted Roundup! Things got slow there for a minute but now we have a nice backlog of apps to check out!

What's new in Self Hosted this week?

There's a few things worth mentioning but this roundup will cover more than just a weeks worth of new apps!

Pønskelisten

Pønskelisten is website-based application for sharing and collaborating on wishlists and presents. The main goal is to allow the sharing of wishlists and the claiming gift ideas without the recipient knowing what they are receiving.

SerpBear

SerpBear is an Open Source Search Engine Position Tracking App. It allows you to track your website's keyword positions in Google and get notified of their positions.

Built with Nextjs the app uses 3rd scrapers or proxy ips to scrape google search result for a certain keyword and check if your domain is present in the result.

Chevereto

The developer, Rodolfo of Chevereto announced a new release of Chevereto free edition.

Chevereto enables to create an image sharing website on your own server. It's your hosting and your rules, say goodbye to closures and restrictions.

Medusa

Medusa announces a massive performance update to their self hosted commerce platform claiming this is a great alternative to Shopify.

For those of you new to Medusa, the short story is that we are self-hosted (surprise ;-)) / open source alternative to the likes of Shopify, Commercetools and similar.

Tailscale Tailnet Lock

Tailscale announces their Tailnet Lock system. Use Tailscale without trusting their infrastructure.

Tailscale makes networking easy. Tailscale lets you easily manage access to private resources, quickly SSH into devices on your network, and work securely from anywhere in the world.
